If you are using a spacer that big, be sure to use one of H&R's. They actually bolt onto your hub, and then you bolt the wheel to the spacer.

16X7 Alpina with 215/55-16 Continentals on a facelift with H&R sports. Will it work with no rubbing/rolling?

With a 20mm offset you really should go with 215/50/16 tires.
Our 16" Kopi wheels are going to have a 20mm offset - not sure what offset the genuine Alpinas are.
The 55's may be too tall with the H&R Sports and cause rubbing.

Since youre on, do you know if the caps for Kopis will fit real alpinas?

                No-they're different.
Ours have a snap on feature with a tool to remove the cap.

I couldnt remember. i had a set of kopis replicas about two years ago and recently found these alpinas locally for 150 big ones, but they did not have caps.

As for the fitment, i have a set of Fittipaldis 16X7 Et26 with 215/50's Goodyears that look tiny, with the offset being different on the Alpinas im not too sure the fit of 215/55's. May work, ill post pics once alls said and done.

                  Thanks!

I took a look at them, they have a 28mm offset.

You may have to use 8mm spacers.

They should be ET22 IIRC (I may be wrong). The 16x8's are ET28 for sure though.

That will rub, a lot. Tire is massive.

Im not sure. They had 215/60-16s on an '89 325 with stock suspension and would only rub when the wheel is cranked all the way.

These are def 16X7 Et 28

I don't know what to tell you. I can say that tires a lot smaller than 215/55/16 simply don't work in the E30's wheelwell.

That all depends on how low you go. I'm running a 195/45/16 and it looks fine to me. Which is definitely quite a bit smaller smaller than a 215/55/16. But I guess it's all about opinion.
