This is purely hypothetical for now but a 17x8.5 running 235/40 Azenis: what would be an ideal offset and how much flaring would be involved if one wasn't too low?

i have a little bit of camber to play with as well.
my fenders in the back are rolled and pulled in the rear.'89 325is S50 Track Montser

With that offset, I doubt you'll be able to effectively turn your steering wheel without stupid small tires and we all know how that looks...'89 325is S50 Track Montser

Widest tire on 16X7 Et28 Alpina with 10 and 8mm spacers at my disposal.
These would be for r compounds. hoping 225/50-16 would work.
can get around 3 degrees camber with plates [which i have]Last edited by Hick; 10-15-2008, 05:34 AM.

16x7 +15mm 205/50/16?
I have Bilsteins and H&R springs. 87 325is.
I wanted a 16x8. but I'm thinking I can deal with a 7. Purely cosmetic, not for performance.'89 325is S50 Track Montser

And regarding your question, does it have to be a 8.5?
For an 8" wheel the ideal offset is around +25.Last edited by z31maniac; 10-15-2008, 05:09 PM.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com
