Would I be able to fit these on a car with H&R race and billy sports without rolling fenders?

              yoooo jay.
just wanted to thank you for your help.
The fronts (235/40/17) made it so i had to raise the front of the car up alot, probably an inch and a half. But i dont care about being low. I think it looks great!
I told you i would show some pics when it was done!
so heres the link tothe showroom thread

So, question. I have an 87 325IS with rolled fenders to accommodate wide wheels/tires. I'm trying to stuff the widest thing possible under it - 245s preferably (this is a track car only). What is my best option for wheels? These are Hoosiers going on them. Previous owner ran 16X9s, but I forgot to ask make, offset, etc. Now I'm not sure which ones to get.

                Thanks.
If you hug the strut with a 16x9, then yeah 245/45/16 is possible with a lot of fender massaging. Think ET10 front or so, ET15 rear.

That's a very aggressive offset. 205/45/16 all around would be my bet.

With the 15's up front, it's a tad cheaper and might look better. 20's all around keeps with the stock track of the front and rear. Opinions? In the big scheme of things it's only 1cm difference. Has anybody noticed any sort of difference in handling, having driven both setups?

                    Thanks,

There will be no discernible difference, trust me. Go for the staggered, it does look better.

225/50/15 is perfect for those wheels.

You'll need spacers on the front to clear the struts. 5mm is enough.

I'd probably go 205/40/17 all around.

You should be okay with the 87 quarters. Love those tires.

All around, see 2 posts up.

Just the rear, 215/40/17 with fender rolling and no spacers.

56.1mm centerbore vs. 57.1mm centerbore. Honda ones are the smaller of the two. VW ones will mostly work.
