I don't know where Jay has been, but I wouldn't want to use them. Tires have a shelf life of 4-6 years. Even if they havent been used, the rubber still breaks down inside them and acts just like a dry rotted tire. I've seen a 5 year old tire with 500 miles on it seperate before.

My qustion still stands. I wanna order rubber this week...

15x7 ET18 on a high-arched early model with H&R Sports and Billstein Sports. I'm planning on using 205/55R15 tires on them. These should be fine without any fender rolling or other craziness right?
In addition, anyone think I could get 225/50s on there without rubbing?

You can't run both the 8mm and 5mm together because there will be no hub for the wheel to sit on. You can get the wheels on without spacers in the rear and run 245/35/16 Toyos, that would actually be a pretty good setup. For the fronts, you will need at least 10mm to clear the struts. So I'd probably go with the 16mm up front, roll the fenders flat, and slap on some 225/40/16 Toyos to match the rear.
hey there, I need a little advice from you guys again. I just got word that TOYO has stopped producing the 225/40/16, and possibly the 245/35/16, so with my setup is there a more common tire size I can run? I have the front fenders rolled flat and slightly pulled.

edit: so you don't have to go searching, I'm running 16x8.5 k1s with et27 offset.

I would rather not go to a 215. With 215s up front and 245s in back handling will suffer quite a bit...I was hoping to her 225/45/16 would be ok, or even 235 up front with a smaller spacer.

                225/45/16 is stock OD.

I didn't suggest that since you were mentioning 225/40s and 245/35

would the 225/45/16 match up to the 245/35/16s I already have in the rear, or will it look off? I'm kinda stuck since I already bought the 245/35s.

If I didn't run the 245/35s would a more common 245 fit in the rear with the 225/45s up front?

I'm trying to figure out if these would fit ?

Hankook Ventus R-s3 in 225/45R15 on 15x8 rims with +20mm offset.

                    Back spacing is 5.31in

On a 318is with Eibach Race with Bilstein strut.

                    Thanks

I can't find a definitive answer to this.

I have 14in. basket weaves with 205 wide tires - BFG Traction T/A.

Can I fit 15mm H&R spacers in the REAR without rubbing? I will be lowering the car on H&R sports very soon, will it rub then?

                        Ok crazy fitiment question here:

I have 2 Merc Benz AMG wheels, size 18x9, ET23, 5x112. If I use a 4x100 to 5x112 adapter (dangerous, I know) which is 20mm thick, will these wheels fit on the rear?

I am dropped on Eibach sports and Bilsteins. If so, what type of tire sizes am I looking at? Car is a 1989 if that helps.

                        Thanx!

Okay I have one. The car is a 90 325is with GC coils, front camber/casterplates and IE weld in rear camber toe kit. Fenders and quarters are not rolled.

The wheels I want to fit are:

                          Front
7.5x16 et27 I currently run a 3mm spacer to clear my Massive street kit, not sure if I would need it with these wheels.

                          Rear
                          9x16 et21

What tire sizes am I looking at running to make these fit? Will I need spacers front or rear?

little update, I ended up having to go with 215/40/16 up front, which happens to be exact same OD as the 245/35s in back. Only problems will be more drastic stagger and stretching 215s on an 8.5" wheel.

I'm still looking for a better fitment option for my next set of tires if anyone has any suggestions.

I have some Kopi Alpina reps 17x7.5 ET20 which are stretching 215/40/R17 tires. I bought them needing new tires, I'm hoping I can do 225/40/R17 because I really don't like stretch.

No fender pulls or rolls, car is a little lower than usual, but not much. Doesn't rub anything as is. Might have some clearance issues in the front I'm guessing with that plastic shroud, but I could just take it off.

If bigger tires won't happen without rolls, pulls, spacers, then I guess I'll stick with the 215s.

                                What do you guys think?
