however the extra weight makes me wonder- if you take that and the 10 dollar difference out of the equation would you rather run the 15x8 or the 15x7?
also at about the same price there is the Team Dynamics Pro race at 13.2 lbs and the Dforce LTW (bav has bronze at 99 bucks) at 13.0lbs even

With 15mm spacers I'd recommend any of 205/50 215/45 225/45.

the ones I was looking at were et15. My question is this. where do you guys get your rubber? cause tirerack doesnt carry a 225/50-15 star spec and niether does onlinetires.com
I am a little lost. Thanks.
Also, to run that size on that wheel you're looking at moderate fender pulling (passed rolling).

Originally posted by Gadea View PostHi Mystikal, I´d like to fit these wheels on a stock (for now) suspension, late model E30. I´m not sure of the offset. I wouldn´t be surprised if that number is in your memory bank. It´s a staggered set, tires are 235/40/18 F (8 inch) and 255/40/18 R (9 inch). I was planning on using the 4-to-5 lug adapters someone sells here. Fender rolling seems kind of obvious and flaring wouldn´t be an issue. I´m only concerned about overall diameter. What do you think? Can it be pulled off?
Then there´s a second E30, with bilstein sport and vogtland springs in which we want to achieve an aggresive stance. Sticking out a little, some fat (as in wiiide) rubber, kind of like the pic kreasims posted, just not necessarily stretched or with that much camber. What are some good options on 15 or 16inch? Not talking about styles or brands, but measures (offset, width, tires, spacers). Which is a good and not overly-expensive route to go? Thanks a lot for all you´ve been doing to the E30 community!
E46 M3s have a huge rear-bias when it comes to wheel fitment (flares). Once you add the adapters in the rear they will poke outside of the fenders, and require something like a 205/35/18 stretched on along with plenty of fender rolling and sky-high spring rates. Not exactly what you're looking for.
For the second car, 15x8 or 16x8 with an offset close to +20 is perfect. You can then mount a 225/50/15 or 225/45/16 with a healthy fender roll. If you really want to push it go for the Apex ARC-8 (which I helped spec, shameless self plug) in 17x8 +25 - you can get a 235/40/17 on there easily, even a 245/35/17. All of the sizes listed are for all 4 corners, as it should be.

Is it just that there are no wheels with the right offset, or am I missing something?
Beyond that, a 15x8 +25 wheel will not clear the front struts, even without the tire mounted.

You can't mount them without either redrilling them to 4lug or swapping your suspension out for 5lug.

On pavement, given the same tire model and 7" wheel, I'm generally still better off with a 225 than I would be with a 205, yes?
(warning, saying no may hurt my brain)

What would be needed to fit
RS 003's origional ET on a 7j wheel of 25.
These have been built out to 9.5j rears and 8.5j fronts.
