I run these on a late model. 205/40s no spacers and not really any fender work but a roll with a ball bat.

I am looking at picking up:
17x7.5 ET20 front and rear or possibly staggered with 17x8.5 et20 in the rear.
I know 215/40/17 is mentioned a lot but I can't get a load rating of more than 87 and my late model requests 88+. Does anyone have problems with insurance for running tires like this? Is 235/40/17 or 215/45/17 an option without rolling/ pulling fenders (very slight fender work would be OK but I prefer not to.) or rubbing.

        Thanks

E34 winter tire related question here:

My Hartges are 8,5j and I rode on 235-45-17s last winter season. I'm looking into trying a slightly narrower size this time around 225-50-17. Would 8,5 result in a tad/too much stretch?

          Thnx in advance.

p.s I want to avoid buying a dedicated set of winter steelies for the time being.

What is the recommended tire size for a 9j rear wheel? Will be running staggered M-systems on E30 M3 suspension, was thinking 225/45R17 front and 235/40R17 rear. Early model car, I believe the offsets are +12f and +10 rear.

I'm considering 15x6.5 et25 and 15x7 et18 wheels. Do I need any spacers and what tires would you suggest? My fenders are rolled, on coilovers, and looking to fill in the wheel well. Thanks!

Yeah but what fits on an ix is different than other e30s.

I'm looking into picking up some wheels that are 16x7 and 35 offset. Is that going to be a direct bolt on or am I gonna need some serious spacers. (Wheel fitment noob)

Work CR-01s 15x8 +10 Fit issues? car isn't lowered to far, just trying to see what the Fender to center hub distance is so I can figure out if they will fit.

                        Thanks in advance guys.

Ok guys hopefully you can help me choose my tires. I have a set of 16x8 +15 XXR 501 wheels I got with my car but Im currently on Bottle Caps. I want to get new tires for the rims soon but I cant decide what tire or size to get.

Basically Im sitting on IE Stg3 Springs, Bilstein sports up front, KYB camaros in back, so not exactly slammed.

What tire size do you guys think would look good? Know any body with similar setup? I want to get a good all season tire too but I guess thats a question for a different thread.

This is how it sat when I bought it, it was on Cut Springs :( but looked awesome.

                            Had 205/45 16 Potenza RE11 tires

I realize these are crappy cell pics and you cant really see the tire but watever

The offset of these wheels it 38, they have a 2inch lip and are 9.5 wide, needing +7 up front i imagine they're going to be hideously poked? am i wrong?
right now my 16x9 +10 fit perfectly, Just outside the fender
                                Too much poke IMO.
