and if you think the 25/20 would look good without being "stanced" (am i using that right?) or too flush, i'm good with it. i'd flare my fenders for it if it will handle better. why did you change your opinion to 20/15 based on what i said?

    thanks for the advice.
Bolt-on because yes, that's how 25+mm spacers are produced for safety.

Wider spacers/stance won't make it handle better. 25/20 is for someone who is truly going for a flush fitment and is willing to deal with modifying fenders and ride height repeatedly to get it to work without rubbing. 20/15 is if this isn't for you and you just want to drive the thing. I got the vibe that you're more in the latter category.

      Will the fitment be good?

Im on ie3 springs with konis.
Do I need any fender work ie rolling/pulling?
I have euroweaves(15x7 et 24) on right now.
What size tires would best for this setup?

Thanks for your time, you are awesome :)
Perfect fitment, no rolling. 205/50, 215/45, 225/45 are your choices.

Will it fit a early model e30? What size adapters do you recommend? Thanks
With a 205/40 or 195/45 maybe, but fender rolling and stiff springs are necessary. 18mm is the smallest and still too thick of an adapter.

i was wondering if you could give me some recommendations on adaptor thickness..
my car is an 86 325 es..

im aiming for a flush look in the front, & some nice poke for the rear..
          ecstuning has some 25mm & 35mm H&R adaptors available
i also heard good things about adaptec Speedware..

i was thinking about running 35mm's up front
          and 25mm's in the rears..

          what you think?
heres a picture of my car

i want my wheels to look just like this....
from this picture i think i might have to run 35mm adaptors all around?

as for tires i plan to use
          205/40/16 up front
          215/40/16 in the rears..

i actually havent gotten suspension but
i plan to order some ground control coilovers ass soon as i get the chance..i just need to figure out what spring rates will work best for my car..
You'll need more like 55mm front and 40mm rear spacing. I'd also suggest 195/45 instead of 205/40 for the front and it will give you some much needed ground clearance.

I'm planning on buying a set of Falken ziex ze-912 in 225/50/15.

Just wanted to verify this will fit without rubbing, I don't want to roll the fenders. Are the 912s a better tire than the 512s? - Looking for a good all-season tire for my daily driver, will see a decent amount of rain and only vry rare snow. Thanks for the help.
You will definitely have to roll the rear fenders. 912s are overall better than 512s. I'd suggest 205/55 if you do not wish to roll.

I have the same wheels on my E30, your taste must be impeccable.

I would not mind going with a taller tire as I've already been through 2 oil pans.

              Thanks.
Definitely. 225/50 and you're set. That's the size those wheels were produced to run IMO.

Ok, I have a few questions. I am retarded when it comes to fitment...even with all the reading I have done.

Here goes, what all do I need to run 15x8 et25 Enkei 92's? And, what tire size would I want for a square, maybe slightly stretched setup?

                Specs:

                15x8 et25 Enkei 92's

                GC Coils (450F 700R)

                Late model

Fenders have been rolled to fit 17x8 Apex ARC-8's with star specs.

                Thanks a bunch!

Just wanted to confirm this would fit ok. Current Specs:

                  Bavarian Motorsports Lowering Springs
                  Billy Sports
                  XXR 531 (out in March) 16x8 +20
                  Dunlop Direzza 205/50R16

Will this wheel tire/combo fit or is there any need for spacers/fender rolling.

                  Thanks!

Thanks for all the help...Jay. I think I've heard people call you that...

                    Last couple questions:
Why doesn't a wider stance help handling? I mean, I guess a 5 mm difference might be negligible, or that after a certain width, its effectiveness would disappear, but if i think about a really narrow width vs a really wide width, there's a definite advantage.

And if there isn't an advantage, why are there so many people going crazy about getting their wheels flush? Is it just an aesthetics thing?

what if i ran 35mm adaptors all around, would my wheels not clear the suspension components? or just not look right?

any recommendations for rear tire size?

I have an opportunity to obtain 16x9, 4x100, et25 57.1 cb wheels for a 1987 e30. These will be used for the rear, and a 16x7 et 25 front. My question is as follows:

May i run these without spacers? And if so, tire size recommended.

                        Thank you in advance.

Thanks, I'm pumped to mount these wheels but I'm a little confused. After I bought these I did a search and found your much earlier post where you fitted BBS RZ378s with 225/50/15 Falken ziex ze 512s.

You said in that thread (bottom of first page):

                            "No rubbing, unrolled fenders."

I have Ronal LSs with 225/50/15s on my e30 vert (also on HR/Bilstein sports) and no rub there without a fender roll so I figured I was good (although I think the LS offset is 24 as opposed to 20 - so that may be the difference).

Anyway, thanks for your help and please clarify this for me. If the 225/50/15s won't work without rolling, what size/brand would you recommend for a nice beefy all season tire?

PS - your taste is definitely impeccable and so is your knowledge

Im deciding to stick with the euroweaves for now, 15x7.

People seem torn between 205/55 and 205/50, what say you is best for a moderately lowered car?

The tires im getting are Yoko S drives.

I would go for the 205/55 but my KDWs are that right now and they seem like giant baloons. But Im afraid 205/50 would give me huge wheel gap and look undersized.

What say you oh great one?!

                              Thanks btw, you are awesome!

Would 205/70R15 fit on d-forces without issue, or is there going to be contact with the strut?
