What shade of silver is this e30?

It's not lachs, sterling, nor polaris. Anybody know what shade of silver this e30 was painted with?

Lighting, filters, screen settings could leave guessing.

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

        It's Sterling Silver.

Yes but the VW in the background doesn't seem to have benefited. Maybe it was excluded deliberately?

I've been checking but I think it's too bright for Sterling Silver. It can't be Lachs or Polaris. Maybe Glacier Silver?

There was no Glacier Silver...you are referring to Glacier Blue which this is not.

The visual mismatch in mirror outers vs inners makes me strongly suspect sterling, but the only way to tell for sure, providing it's not a repaint, is to check the sticker/VIN.

I definitely think it's a repaint but maybe I should've asked which BMW color this car was repainted with.

Here's two of the nicer Sterling Silver shots I found. It seems darker to me than the one in the OP.

Same with most silvers...it can be the same paint code but have a lighter or darker shade. I've seen lighter lachssilber look Sterling.
