i have a question. if you are in one lane and the cop is traveling in the opposite direction is it possible for him to get an accurate speed reading on you? or would he be bullshitting you?
also. if you read our great constitution it states that you have a right to trial by jury of your peers for any case involving a sum greater than like $20!
"In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law." -Amendment 7 - Trial by Jury in Civil Cases. Ratified 12/15/1791.
"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence." -Amendment 6 - Right to Speedy Trial, Confrontation of Witnesses. Ratified 12/15/1791.
sooooo walk into your court date and be like um i want a trial by jury. they will drop the case. it will cost the state x3 as much to set up the trail date alone, thats if it doesnt actually see the court room, than they will get from the biggest ticket. so any judge in comon sense would drop the case on the spot.
