IIRC they need a VIN but that's usually fine.

list is 80 bucks at fcp but the final few sold over $350 US. the single printed ebay part is the same $350 price as the kit. sell it before it comes back lol.


edit : the kits for rhd cars is still available but not for lhd. the parts that break don't interchange.

they can't source it either. there's a single aftermarket producer and they seemed to have quit. the problem is there aren't any cars aside from e30 using the lock system.

I tried placing an order with them. Unlike other vendors, they were prompt in telling me what the situation was. Apparently, BMW has 100s of orders for the kit outstanding.
