why not go MS instead of a patched in MAF upgrade? you will also gain a true throttle position sensor and acceleration enirchment which will improve response even more.
How to increase throttle response?

If I'm reading it correctly, the kit comes with it's own software I think.Where did you get the $600 number?
On their site, the GenIII kit is only $300
+20hp/+22tq
That's pretty good for the money.
Dyno Graphs
I could e-mail them, but do you happen to know if the kit is compatible with aftermarket chipped ECU's?
If those numbers are true, I'm seriously considering it. It's worth it for the 20hp gain alone, even without the throttle response benefit.Comment

Just run MS, it would get rid of the restrict-o-meter and would allow many future mods. You can buy built MS's on this board for around $600Anything can be done

Miller Gen III comes to $378.19 shipped to California UPS, I'll let everyone know how it goes, I may even retail for these guy's.
I talked to them about it a little while back and the possibility of some other things (R&D) but I like the info I'm seeing on their new unit so I'm going to try it out and see.I'm Not Right in the Head | Random Rants and other Nonsense1st Order Logic Failure: Association fallacy, this type of fallacy can be expressed as (∃x ∈ S : φ(x)) → (∀x ∈ S : φ(x)), meaning "if there exists any x in the set S so that a property φ is true for x, then for all x in S the property φ must be true".Comment

Are there any reasons why you'd have to use Miller's ECU? I'm sure if enough people buy this (seeing how it's so cheap), some people wouldn't mind making custom chips...
I don't see what's wrong with using aftermarket chips though, like Jim C or Mark D...
But I guess I shouldn't be speaking for them...
