I think you and the OP are missing the point. Are we all driving the limit all the time? I think not. I'll admit I go over but a) drive at a safe speed within the limit of the road conditions and most importantly your ability (aka don't drive like a moron) and b) when you get pulled over and ticketed accept the consequences that your own actions brought on instead of crying about it and calling the cop a terrorist. He's just doing his job like the rest of us. Yes, I have a V1. It's paid for itself many times over. But that doesn't give me the right to drive in a manner that endangers others. It's the OPs attitude that he be allowed to speed and get away with it as if that were his god given right that has rankled so many of us.
