    oil change

    im just wondering if the mobile 1 oil filter and valvoline full synthetic 5w-20 is good for my car..

    How many miles on the motor?? 5w-20 sounds a bit too thin???

        Too thin. 20w-50 or 15w-50 on M20 with that kind of mileage.

          that oil is too thin and there's no need to use synthetic, in fact, it's probably best not to. Go with 20w50 or 15w50.

            but i been using synthetic since i got my car isnt it bad to change it back to conventional?

              i would stick with synthetic then.

              +1 on running 15-50, during the summer at least. I'd say that 10w-40 would be safe too.

                castrol has a 10w30 synthetic

                    mobile 1 has a 15w-50 that works very well in m20s

                    5w-20, even 10w-30 is too thin

                    the Mobile One part for the filter is M1-205 btw
