where are you going to disassemble? if you want, there's a 2 car garage i saw on craigslist for $80 I believe. I'd split it with you...

tell them that is the actual milage, it will get your more money. don't tell them ANYTHING was broken or not working it will just hurt you in the end

I don't plan to. I think I told the the honda guy that the odo was broken just cause he was talking about how he had an old 2002 and how my car was such low mileage, and I was kinda in shock so I mentioned it, but he's not gonna go tell the insurance company or anything.

learningcurve86 (greg) got hit by some dude in e30 and he gave the claims adjuster sales adds for m30 swapped cars and after looking at his (even though it was an 87 325is w diving boards) they have him like $4k!!!!!! and he gets to keep the car so he can swap the m30 into another car

The worst part is they're not looking at it till this coming wednesday and I won't be around for it, so I'll have to deal with it over the phone.

Also the claims adjustor hinted that, though I'll be gone for 2 weeks, they'll only pay for the car to be stored at the body shop for a till friday.

I'm going to fight this all the way though.

Make sure you tell your insurance company that you want to buy the car back if they end up totaling it. You must buy it back and swap stuff over to another shell, you'll make it even better man! :)

Also, I'm driving cross country for 2 weeks starting saturday (hopefully if I can get some insurance shit sorted out) from Buffalo to Denver, staying with my brother, to Reno to stay with my sister, to Sacramento and LA to stay with both my grandma's, and back probably the southern route.

The reason I'm telling everyone this is because I might be looking for an e30 on my way across the US. I bought this one on a past trip to LA on a whim, and I've been in love ever since. Let me know what you got!
