Thanks guys, I appreciate the condolences. One of the worst things is no one I know really seems to understand what I put into this car. I mean I know it sounds terrible but I've put most of the money I've gotten outside of paying for college and an apartment into it for the better part of 4 years, and I was so excited to get it back on the road in june after the swap.
Everyone just looks at it like it's another old car and keeps saying how nice it is that I'll get a new, different car
Unfortunately by the time I got out there she was already being towed away and picked up by her family.
Nah it's the one in Amherst on Niagara Falls. I might, I'm gonna talk to both mine and her insurance, as well as the mechanic tomorrow.
At least when I called this woman's insurance (she hadn't filed a claim yet btw, I had to do it) the girl I talked to was sympathetic and sounded hot. And she seemed to appreciate my BMW obsession haha.
EDIT: And that fluid you see in a puddle there? According to the policeman it was "water" and I'm thinking "that's not water" so the guy who had the accord (this is weird) tasted it (I know) and was like "whoa, that's battery acid!" My battery was crushed. Brand new battery too. And brand new center rear bumper trim. sigh.Originally posted by LJ851I programmed my oven to turn off when my pizza was done, should i start a build thread?

Also, I'm driving cross country for 2 weeks starting saturday (hopefully if I can get some insurance shit sorted out) from Buffalo to Denver, staying with my brother, to Reno to stay with my sister, to Sacramento and LA to stay with both my grandma's, and back probably the southern route.
The reason I'm telling everyone this is because I might be looking for an e30 on my way across the US. I bought this one on a past trip to LA on a whim, and I've been in love ever since. Let me know what you got!Originally posted by LJ851I programmed my oven to turn off when my pizza was done, should i start a build thread?

i don't know about the laws in NY, but in AZ you are going to have some issues with the insurance company because it was on private property insted of a public roadway.
might want to look at that, it is just a way for the insurance company to get out of paying.
when i was hit in ny E30 in a parking lot, i had to pay for the damages to his car even though he hit me and i was standing still! he had to pay for mine, but he was the one who hit me. they told me i was 50% at fault for being in the parking lot, bullshit!
sorry for what happened, when they tell you they are going to total it, make sure and tell them right away that you want to buy it back!seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen
