STi + $20k in mods sounds like a good deal to me. :)
"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."
Thought some of you with a hard on for V8s (vettes, GTOs etc) might like one of these puppies.... 300kW LS2 in a ute with zero traction would be a good laugh
HSV R8 Ute. Base model Maloo is around USD$50k: [/img]
lol, I think GM were actually considering exporting Holden/HSV Utes to the US to revive the El Camino, kinda like what they did with the Pontiac GTO. Dunno if it's still gonna happen tho.
And its the Aussies that came back with it. How is that? They recreate the musclecar and now they are going to recreate the El Camino. Maybe BMW should hire them and they will remake light and quick classic looking sedans again.

Aussie automotive engineers don't understand the concept of light and quick. They understand heavy and slow, and realise that increasing more power = heavy and fast = deathtrap but haven't yet realised that less weight and more power = 8)
There is one Aussie car I would love to see in the US: Falcon XR6/XR8
That thing kicks ass. I think everyone remembers the pic a few weeks ago of the glowing headers and huge turbo on the XR6's 4.0L DOHC I6. That engine has a lot of potential. I'd love to see it, at least in n/a form, in American Fords. It'd be a great base model engine for the Explorer and Mustang, and as an option on the Ranger. Would certainly be better than the 4.0L V6 lump they currently sell.
