I don't see the prices going up - not if you look at s14.net. They are about the same.

Mint M3 prices are sure to skyrocket cause there are less and less of them - that makes sense.

A clean e30 M3 is worth good money, but i wouldnt waste money on a US spec e30 at all.

Obviously I like to see E30 M3's skyrocket but I think this is overpriced. The interior costs around $2-4K max, 6K with original evo door panels, plus the OEM evo misc stuff account for another grand or so. It's certainly a nice car though.

this is one of the replies:

A cursory glance of craigslist finds many 05, 06, and 07 M3's with around the same number of miles for less than what this douche is selling his 21 year old M3. Not old enough to be a collectible, not good enough to be a legend. This dude is smoking crack....

          and another one

I remember driving these cars when they were new. Impressive performance for a 4 cyl but they always left me a little cold. I was much more impressed with the follow-on E36.

I respect these E30's but don't desire them. I wouldn't buy it at 1/3 the price as I know I could find an E36 for close to the same money

          need we say more?

at which point you'd still be paying $19,000 for a boxy 21 yr. old car with only 200hp.

                $10k for that interior!
                It's mostly cloth!!!
It looks almost like something you'd expect to see in a mid-80s pontiac or buick!

He will find the right buyer and get the asking price. Hell if I had the money I would buy it.

                      Why?
M3s have gotten progressively more powerful since the e30.
I understand that the e30 M3 is desirable because it is rare and lightweight and good-looking, but $39k?

Here's a list of some other nice things $39k can buy you in the used car market.

                      1) C6 Corvette Z06 or a really low miles base C6
                      2) 996 Porsche 911
                      3) Mk IV Toyota Supra Turbo with really low miles
                      4) E46 M3 with really low miles, and about $10k in change.
                      5) E39 M5 with really low miles, and about $8k in change

                      or....to re-iterate....you could buy a boxy 21 year old car with 200hp.

Hmmm hold on a sec. That's BMW M Technic cloth for E30's on leather Recaro SRD's and probably OEM door cards (expensive!). It's a pretty penny but far from $10K.

                            I know, I know.
My remark about it looking like a Buick interior was intended as a joke.
I'm just amazed that someone would spend $10k on a multi-colored cloth interior....even if it is M-Technic cloth...it's still cloth.

i saw this car at ofest this year. It is really quite incredible. The interior is a true evo, even the seat sliders.

i think the car has like 30k on it.

still, i think it will be very hard for that car to sell at that price.
