Just to be clear - the picture below includes a custom plenum made by DTR Performance in Florence, KY. The owner of DTR (also named Kevin) has a build thread here in the forced induction forum. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=144199

Kevin at DTR has built a number of bespoke turbo system cars using Extrudabody ITBs - they are a very good quality product. Extrudabody ITBs are on DTR's One Lap of America turbo M52 e30. http://www.buckeyebmwcca.org/buckeye...ber%202009.pdf

Luke, pricing is on their site...

Luigi, they are a complete shop, they have everything. Hang tight for details on the complete set up...

Buddy, they use cads and engineering to ensure proper fit and flow.

Like I said, he is not a hack welding crap together to make it work. Everything is engineered, tested and tuned prior to brining to market.

shiiiiiit, i'd be stoked with the EMS, and keep my e-cred points. any ballpark ideas on pricing for the EMS system?
plug and play for the E-30?

While dbilas is certainly very cool, the key thing is to put together a system in which everything has been optimized to work together. Think of it this way:
                      • OPTION A: $3000 on a dbilas ITB setup
                      • OPTION B: $1500 on Extrudabody ITB's + $500 on Megasquirt conversion + $500 on headwork + $500 left over for setup & tuning

Which one will give you the best result in the end? On top of that, there's the coolness factor. I'd rather work with local vendors/shops to build a custom car rather than just writing a check and waiting for the UPS guy to deliver. More fun that way

L, do you have any idea how much power is gained with the ITB's? For an S52 for example? Really nice stuff.

Id much rather have the extrudabody setup, but dbilas has an itb setup that uses stock Afm, TPS, and is bolt on. That is quite appealing on its own.

I would be interested in a S52 setup after we get some more info on it. Thanks Guten for bringing this vendor to us.
