I love my e28. I hate my diving boards. Euro swap isn't that hard. There's a guy who makes conversion brackets now. It's almost a bolt on process with a bit of fabbing. Euro bumps are also still available NEW through the dealer, and they're not that pricey for what they are.

I do hate e30s with diving boards, probably because they actually made N. American e30s w/out diving boards.

Also, sedans just are never worth as much as their 2 door counter parts. Compare e28 vs. e24. Same chassis, big price difference (but from talking w/e24 owners, e28s are more capable track-wise...) e28 vs e30 just isn't a good comparison, IMO, not even the same chassis.

^ Good thing it doesn't have an M20B25, right? I hear those engines suck pretty bad.

I fucking hate M20s. Only reason I didn't put my spare M30 in my e30 is the HG wasn't blown on the M20 like the seller of it suspected.

          So e28 for $800 = still wait for e30?

                I love both.
There's just a different feel to either car.

But you can hop up an e28 just like an e30 if you want.
                Case in point: my e28.
                ALPINAs, coilovers, euros(lights and bumps)...
I mean, you would do the same stuff to an e30, right?
Hell, it's already got the M30 in it, no timing belts to break, and we all know where to get m30 turbo stuff...

The ONLY downside that I have seen for e28s is their SUPER finicky front suspension.

I'd love to have an E28 to play with. I just don't ever see myself owning more than 1 car at a time.

B35 in an e28 is also hella fun!....and it fits better than in an e30 ;)

I swear a broken timing belt killed your dog or something.

That would explain your hatred for all timing belts.

I missed the PCA auto-x @ RIR because of a timing belt. Nuff said.

                              I haven't lost one yet.
I love the e28 for what it is, but I'll always be an e30 guy FIRST.

Didn't it rain last saturday anyways?

It was 130 dollars for 3 runs.
