Just like everyone said, he paid 650 for a good running/driving car. There's no doubt in my mind he beat it driving it home. I beat the shit out of the e30 I bought from MS. E30, that was because i was taking the m20 out the next day for an m50 anyway. I found many many problems on that car after i bought it. I didn't call her and tell her to give me all the money back, i paid 260 for it. Agreed price was like 300 but she told me i don't have to pay the other 40 because of the bad problems with the body, pretty much renders it a junkyard car. don't give anything back. stop worrying about it in all honesty.

i bought my new e30 for $500 cash from a guy. by the time i got it home (maybe 2 miles in the city) it was pissing antifreeze and WAY over heated. i figured that i could at least get my money back from parting it out. and never bothered the guy. it turns out he was a shitty mechanic and used the wrong bolt on the water pump.

the point? if the shell is clean and the engine is blown, tell him he has a perfect car to swap the engine and leave it at that.

I'd act like it never happened. I bought an e28 for $400 and it had a blown headgasket. I never called the guy asking for him to help me fix it. Some people need to grow up.

My first car was a 1986 corolla (aka ae86) I bought for $100 cash. It had a 190,000 4ac 1.6L carbureted motor that ran like shit. I drove 5hours to get it, the motor spit hot fire 2hours into the drive because it ate up all the coolant (messed up head gasket). I filled it every 75miles… LOL “or so”…. with new water and a qt of oil. It took us 11hours to get home, and we did. What was I gonna tell him, give me some money back??!

Moral of the story: you buy a cheap car, you’re on your own.
If you think it was him, tell him to go forget himself. Otherwise send him $100 back by mail, BUT DON’T show up, be an ass whatever, the last thing you want to do is for him to kill you on the side of the road.. people are crazy nowadays.. well too late now, you’re probably already dead.
