My claim is at the "Risk Management" Manager.

If I do the whole "turn in to the insurance" thing (I do have premium full coverage) the insurance company is gonna choke on giving me $4500 and not fucking with my title, and they are gonna WAY choke on keeping the car and giving me $6K, so of course I am gonna hire a lawyer to fight the insurance company...well, it just so happens that a lawyer local to me, a Rich Milham of Gig Harbor is a shylock bastard from hell...and an E30 enthusiast for many years...is happy to get them to pay those kinds of dollars, he knows precisely how and has done so for many people.

So that same "Risk Management" Manager will know that if she simply cuts me a check I will shut up and go away...but I am not gonna do a bunch of fucking around, either. I want a check in my hand damn near immediately or it will cost her far far far more, with the lawyers and the insurance companies each getting their cut, and Mr. Milham entirely capable of getting me what I want for the car....

Seems to me that shutting a guy like me up is smart, y'know?

I feel your pain Luke. I just went though some serious Fckd up crap with an insurance company and it sucks. Hope you get these guys to pay and get your girls car back on the road in the same or better condition it was previously in.

thanks cramer. i think the wheel gap looks worse than the wheels. something about their shape reminds me of the shitty wheels people put on accords/carollas/minivans. they are interesting though. i just dont like chrome wheels too much.

I think the over/under for liking (or at least respecting) those wheels is 35 years old.

Has the car been on a rack yet? Pushing the bumper to the side can just push the frame rails sideways with it. Which is not good.

Of course, if you had metal bumpers, the car would be totally straight. :)
