Turned the first pieces tonight. Still need to hook up the gearbox and leadscrew for powerfeeds, but I need to turn some parts for the gearbox so manual feed it was! They sure don't make em like this anymore.

Basically, it's a VFD (variable frequency drive) to control the 3-Phase motor. That along with the tachometer I haven't hook up yet will let me turn at the exact rpm/sfpm needed for any job.Comment

Built a constant current dummy load for testing some power supplies for some upcoming new stuff.
Need to build a little case for it out of some pine.

VIM tools? Made where? if you know. Want to get some of e-torx box wrenches and rather not buy Gear-Wrench's because they tend to be bulkier.Comment

Just got this Waterloo lower box. Paid a whole $40 for it at an estate sale. Thing is in like new condition with hardly any wear.
