Well first off, I love 240s. I can't seem to find a decent one for a reasonable price. But I have found 1986 325 that seems decent. I do not know much about them, but I wouldn't mind having one. I drove this car already. The trans is the smoothest shifting thing I have ever touched. The guy says its a 325e but it only says 325 on the trunk. It leaks a bit of oil and has a little steering wheel shake at around 50. I think it has manual brakes too. 133k on the odometer but it stopped working a month ago, he says anyways. He was trying to get 2300 but will give it to me for 1700. Also has ram intake through the driver side high beam. Paint is peeling. I didn't see any rust. If anyone could inform me on a motor size that would be great. I just need some help on deciding if this car is worth it or overpriced. Any feedback is appreciated. Oh and if anyone could tell me what the warning lights mean on the center of the ceiling, by the mirror, that would great. They are all in german so I can't read them.

That should help translate the check panel for you.
Seems like a decent price. You will definitely want to replace the front control arms, bushings and tire rods to clean up the 50mph shake.
Check the E30 DIY subforum here for a ton of info and easy fixes. If you can spell mechanically inclined, you should be alright wrenching on the car.
