Here one from local autocross, currently about 1.5 seconds behind my e30, but he is in SSM and I am in SM.
Bullshit excuses list:
I don't have the confidence in the car yet (waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles)
Not much room for runoff at my first event.
It's totally different.
Stock suspention+ sticky tires=body roll.
Messed up the start, the rest was so so
And my wife got the "AP1 snap", really just from trailing throttle oversteer. "both feet in!...oh, you stalled it." lol
We have a test and tune this coming friday, can't wait!sigpic

Awesome car..
Problem for taller guys though, is that if fails the broomstick test at HPDEs.. (when you sit in the car with helmet on the broomstick is laid across the top of the front windshield and the stock roll bar.. you're head must be below the broomstick). My friend who is about 6ft 1 had to put in a bucket seat with a very low mount to get it to work..
Not that big a deal, still an awesome car.

Ya, that is an issue. I am 6ft 3 and although I fit well enough in the car, some clubs will not allow it for obvious reasons. Down the road I can get a roll bar that is taller than my head, for now I can use the E30 for HPDE.
For the rest of the year though I am going to be focused on S2000 autocross.sigpic

Nope, feels VERY connected, it's one of the BEST drivers cars out there.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

One thing that was deterring was the snap oversteer of the S2K... mostly in the high speed sweepers, which is where I was comfortable to push hard with the E30.
