I think the mtech kit is worth a good bit more than a grand even with the front valance missing. I would guess the convertible top probably cost someone 1500 bucks when it was installed.
There is some rust on the car for sure but nothing as crazy as my old ix. Seems like I may have a good buyer for it. It’s a pretty decent deal for a running, driving, inspected MTech.1989 325ix

Very clean looking plastic bumper cabrio. I like the casually mentioned “...also needs new motor.” (!) $3500 is sky high for a car that is not running, but body looks great. Maybe it’s just a broken TB / head problem.
