Bosch is best.Oil filters perform a very important function. Bits of metal chip off of various engine parts during the engine's operation. If these bits of metal re-circulate through the oil, these bits will break off other bits of metal. It's erosion. And the erosion occurs under significant pressure. Any erosion that does occur will occur quickly and can compound at exponential rates.Comment

Mann or Full depending on what is available. Anybody who say there isn't a difference is smoking crack. Cut a Mann filter and a Fram in half and you'll see the difference. Plus Fram gaskets ALWAYS leak.Comment

On my m20 i used MANN filters, mostly because I bought a bunch of them cheap on one of my parts orders from a worldpac distributor. The m52, im not sure what element I am using right now, but its due for an oil change soon...Comment
