    Unless your going to be towing over 8k Often then a good newer 1/2 ton or full size SUV is more than enough.

    I have pulled my old e30, behind both my truck 3/4hd and the FIL 1 ton HD and you never even knew it was back there till you looked in the mirror. The little woman also drug it 1/2 way across the country behind her tahoe with out issue.

                This is a terrible idea. The transmission, diff and suspension are not designed for this. Maybe most important is the chassis, it isn't a body over frame car with a nice and strong c channel backbone.
