Yeah, it would still fit, but not if he were much lower.

I've got two Craftsman jacks--one mcshitty $30 one and one decent Aluminum one that still sucks and can't lift for shit. I think I am about to pick one of these up today.

Crap. absolute crap. well at least the one i got. i jacked my car up ONCE with it and the rollers that push down the pistons were all chewed up.

I have a Costco low pro one I bought over a year ago. It's heavy as fuck but works great.

For a bit, regardless, just drive up on some wood and it would be fine.

If I were to go for a long trip - I think I'd pack one of those jap scissor jacks.
They're light weight, compact, and work.

Honestly - I've never had the balls to actually try the OE jack.

Has anyone had experience using one?
                      Do they actually work?

A lot of you guys are talkin floor jacks - and I can't see myself hauling one of those around in my trunk.

Lol haven't had any problems with my OE jack yet, although I have only used it like twice out of curiosity.

i use them all the time.....only car jack i have currently actually. just make sure you're careful with the placement on the floor as well as the car, and make sure it's straight up and down, and it's perfectly safe.

                            cool.
I keep chunks of bicycle inner tubes in car in case I want to use one as an anti-skid/ground pad - and another chunk to use between jack and car-to-jack contact points.

I love the oe jack. Far easier to use than a scissor jack, especially at 3 degrees Fahrenheit. (ask me how i know)

As for non emergency, daily use jacks, I use a big ol' craftsman jack. (heavy as balls though)

Another mention for the harbor freight alum jack. Had mine two years and use it often.
