Crap. absolute crap. well at least the one i got. i jacked my car up ONCE with it and the rollers that push down the pistons were all chewed up.
I have a Costco low pro one I bought over a year ago. It's heavy as fuck but works great.

For a bit, regardless, just drive up on some wood and it would be fine.Originally posted by howdyhoayman View Postif you were any lower would it still fit under?

If I were to go for a long trip - I think I'd pack one of those jap scissor jacks.
They're light weight, compact, and work.
Honestly - I've never had the balls to actually try the OE jack.
Has anyone had experience using one?
Do they actually work?
A lot of you guys are talkin floor jacks - and I can't see myself hauling one of those around in my trunk.

Lol haven't had any problems with my OE jack yet, although I have only used it like twice out of curiosity.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury. Over engineered S50b30 murica BBQ swap in progress.

i use them all the time.....only car jack i have currently actually. just make sure you're careful with the placement on the floor as well as the car, and make sure it's straight up and down, and it's perfectly safe.Originally posted by Simon S View PostIf I were to go for a long trip - I think I'd pack one of those jap scissor jacks.
