Whoever is saying the FR-S looks like a Tiburon is a freakin clot. The Genesis coupe still and forever will hold that title.
I for one love the crazy lines and aggressive tones. A very nice track looking car with LF-A inspired looks. Ricers are gonna love this car, but at least we'll be able to see a glimpse of the occasional rational camber on some nice wheels with a decent, unexaggerated, Not-"let's put my oil pan 2" under the ground" drop.
Honestly really excited to see one on the street :-D
Dare I say it...?
Almost as excited as seeing another e30 on the street.. ALMOSTLast edited by JinormusJ; 05-27-2012, 11:52 PM.Comment

yeah right. 3500lb curb weight for the v6, almost 1000 lbs heavier than the BR-Z.
I heard quite the opposite from the Subaru reps at the BR-Z booth at a trade show a few weeks ago, they said that since they use the Toyota RWD 6-speed, the block is a different casting to bolt up to the transmission.
But since when do dealers or reps actually know anything about their own cars (seriously).Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

I got to sit in a BRZ yesterday. Seats are fantastic and the pedals/wheel setup is great too. I'd like to buy one honestly, looks like a solid fun car.

love the pearl white subaru does too, great color!Comment

Prior to this has Subaru been known for it's pearl whites? That's been a Toyota thing for many years.
Lots of Toyota fans are happy you can get the pearl white on the Scion FRS. It's an extra $200 but it's a very popular choice. Many of the First 86 deliveries have been in "Whiteout" (what Scion calls it).Comment

I think so. I remember seeing a 2007 sti in Guam on a scuba diving trip. It was pearl white with silver wheels and glorious. We had just bought a new gti, and couldn't afford two new cars. This was in October 2008 and the dealer was desperate to sell it. Just in conversation, the sales guy dropped the price down to 26.5k for a brand new sti!Prior to this has Subaru been known for it's pearl whites? That's been a Toyota thing for many years.

I got to sit in a Blue one in late april, and I agree. Not a fan of the shifter setup, gears are nice and close, but the pull up the boot to reverse thing is annoying.
Its also got a pretty big battery under the hood, and spare tire + jack in the trunk are going to be two places for easy weight savingsOriginally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

stock tires on these things are shitty. they are supposedly Prius tires.
slap on some advan tires and supposedly improves 3 seconds laptime on a track according to drift king

This may just be the very first new car purchase I make. I hope Toyota/Subaru really deliver.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
