I actually like the way our fuseboxes look, with a new cover of course.

some one else said it as well, the VW/AUDI shaved clean look bays are cool too look at...sometimes when i feel like i want to buy a honda and throw acura badges on it and call it JDM as Fuck.
other than that, a clean bay neatly done with all functional parts(coolent bottle, washer bottle, brake booster, a/c lines, abs ect ect) is far better off. after all arent our cars BMW's not base model stereotypical "euro trash""God created turbo lag to give V8's a chance" Taylor D.

that was mine right after the engine was dropped in. I never even got a photo of it all finished. :(
This was the night I started shaving everything in the bay. I got the rad support done alone with the passenger side before the car got smashed.

My next build/swap is gonna be the cleanest ever.. :DComment

I thought the engine bay of your black coupe looked perfect imo. I look forward to your next one.

I have to say, I'm not a fan of the ones where EVERYTHING is gone, every wire, every line, fitting, module, etc. I like to still see a lot of the parts that make it an engine bay. In that white VW, and a few of the others, it looks like someone just took a brand new clean motor in put it in a brand new clean box.
I don't like the false panels to cover all of the depressions and holes on the floor of the wheel well, the strut towers, etc. I really need to get some better pics of my engine bay, but I like to still see the brake lines, the fuse box, casting/stamping marks, etc. But I think that's because I like more of a stripped/motorsport style look than the shaved/show look.Comment

I see it too now that you mentioned it. I saw a practically "shaved" engine bay on a newer VW Rabbit at SoWo. It wasn't so much shaved as it was rearranged. He had coolant and washer bottles made that were hidden under the wiper cowl area and all the lines were ran in nice looming and tucked under the overhangs around the sides. Very clean and practical and the other components were still there.Comment
