Woke up this morning had a call from my sister to pick her up from repair shop on the way there some guy in a 05 explorer hit me from the rear. I just did all the body work on this car and all new suspension, short shifter, interior mods etc... I have an appointment today to go through Allstate's drive thru adjuster service. I think they will total it and my plan is to buy it back and part it out... Another rust free e30 gets fucked...

Fixing it ruins the resale value of the car. The quarter is pushed in toward the trunk and the trunk latch is pushed back a good 6 inches... I looked at the guy like I was gonna kill him told him to be quiet and wait for police I had to use extreme anger management. I wanted to bash his fucking skull in but I know long term i did the right thing. Hopefully they offer me at least 2500 and the option to buy back so I can part out all the good shit on it. man this is why I just want a beater every time I have something nice it gets wrecked by someone else...

I took to a local body shop they said they would 100% total it... I'm going this afternoon to my insurance Allstate to get the ball rolling. I told them they can battle it out with Ohio Casualty I want my money now!!!

edit - saw your last post, take it to another bodyshop. that really isn't all that bad if your quarters are fine.

I was selling the car because I am moving out of state and couldn't take with me. If anyone wants the whole car as is I will let my insurance total it and buy it back then sell it complete. I just do not have the time to deal with it. I had a buyer lined up for this weekend...

On a positive note if anyone wants this to repair my friend has a late model parts car that you could cut the whole rear out and get it repainted. I just do not have the know how or time to do this. I thought the car was gonna be sold this weekend. Crazy how fast shit changes...
