          thats corect, i think that if you are forced to comute over a specific number of miles to be employeed, you should get some kind of a tax credit. for a guy like me that travels 25,000 miles a year just to get to and from work and with all the tax loop holes that are written in to benifit the rich, i just think that it's only right. the government keeps running their mouth about jobs, employment and how they really want to help the middle class?????????? i am paying over 80 a week in gas and tolls for an eta. 10 fucking oil changes a year.

          bottom line;
          as long as big oil is permitted to give campaign contributions in excess of 250,000 to almost each and every one of the politicions, we will never see the price come down. oil cos see their run comming to an end and are fleecing us for every thing they can. a storm cloud in the gulf and up it goes. how much money did any of us guys donate to campaign reelections? if you are a politicion, who are you gona help once you're in office? the guy that gave you nothing? or the guy's that gave you millions? i'm ranting aint i? well oh well. and all this shit is the same with the pharmasutical companies. there is a reason the constitution says we have the right to keep and bear arms and it's not to put food on the table or defend your home. it's so the people can take back their government when it gets out of control. i know it's not a practical idea in these times but non the less, thats why it's there. now see that you fucks, now i'm gona be late for work cause you all got me started.

                  Once you add in the sprockets/chains, tires, etc. a motorcycle still cost more per mile to operate than an economy car.

                  Especially if you get something with sporting intentions.

                      I would love to ride my bicycle to work - except I leave at 4:30am, and I don't want to die because some moron didn't see me... maybe in the summer.

                        I guess they should have said yes to Keystone...

                        Paying $1.38/L right now, that works out to $5.31/USG a bit pricy, but up untill about 2 years or so ago, you guys paid 50% for your gas compared to us.

                          Yea Im kinda scared of that too and also my area isn't that safe. Don't wanna get jacked riding my bike to the BART station (Bay area's subway). Hopefully my eta will save me moolah in the gas department.

                            Think this is on its way to being a much larger issue. Theft of fuel and the rise in price.

                            I read in Orlando Florida the price is close to 6 a gallon for 93.

                                gas just jump 20cents since yesterday at berkeley. This is ridiculous. Seriously back to paying 10 dollars at the pump and not even getting a 1/4 tank.
