Generally, my PO was a 50-something retired marine, original owner. The car was in baby-bottom condition, just the shell needs some refreshing. I've taken most of the motor apart as well as the interior, and everything is immaculate. Only thing I can complain about is him cutting my ABS wires.. Not even sure how to go about fixing that problem though TBH..

My PO was def a mixed bag. On the + side there was only one PO and they kept every single record of work done on the car. They also kept it inside most of the time. On the other hand somewhere along the line somebody tried to polish or wax the car when it was dirty, so now it is covered with tons of small. fine scratches. Not the end of the world but def more than little ol' me can handle.Sterling Silver 1990 325i BMWCCA #24133

My story is partly my fault. When I first got mine I was so excited that I coudln't help myself but to look at the car. Unfortunately, I didn't look at ALL of the car. A couple of weeks after I bought the damn thing I saw a small bump on the front diving board. I looked at it closer and it looked like the car had run into one of the yellow safety parking lot poles that's filled with cement. I kinda got nervous and started looking around some more and I eventually took off the front bumper to look at the damage. The flange that holds the front bumper one was completely FUCKED! It was twisted and mangled to an unrecognizable form and as I looked further, I saw the actually framing of the chassis was warped probably a good inch off of the actual line. And to add injury to insult, as I was driving I felt a breeze-a-blowin' up my pant leg. I looked down at the floor and there was a hole about the size of a quarter in my floor plan from where he "converted" the interior to an e36 interior. I hadn't noticed it before because it was meticulously covered by a flap. Everyday, I'm finding more hack jobs and am just thinking of parting out at this point.Originally posted by Wh33lhopThis is r3v. Check your vaginal sand at the door.

The fenders and valence were cut as you can see to let the wheels clear and turn a little, but it could not accomplish any sort of a u turn. And it sheared a wheel off the spacer on my trip home of course. Thankfully it was a rear wheel and there was a cop behind me to direct traffic so I could retrieve my run away 22 and get towed out...-Ryan

A shot next to my truck for some perspective.
I replaced basically everything those heavy wheels stressed. Selling the 22's the next day covered the cost of the car at least.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

The further I dig into my car the more I find the PO either did wrong, or did not do at all. A PPI would have made most of this blindingly clear, however I did not get one, live and learn.91 318is M50 swapped
