Did the police let you pick it up from the body shop when it was found or did they have it towed to their impound lot?
Any pictures of the damage to post?

This ranks #1 in my book for a theif to have his hands and feet placed on the edge of a curb then sledge hammered. GPS system, alarm and motion sensor camera. I saw a guy selling a E30 M3 last year in front of his shop. Drove by on the way home a few nights and he had it outside( in my head I was like wtf). I live in a nice area and his shop was on a busy intersection with cameras but f*%k that. I stopped by one day and spoke with his buddy. He had a E30 M3 also. We talked for about 20 min. I said something alongs the line of your buddy trust leaving this car out at night? Dude looked at me crazy and then said what do I mean. I just said ok and went on my way. Next day time I drove by car was moved. I was able to sleep at night now. LOL

kershaw if you look at my previous posts and what people have said....the car had chassis damage from a previous accident but the car is still drive-able and I have fixed almost everything. When I said the car was "fine," I meant nothing was missing or parts weren't taken based off the word of the police. And I'm listing the clist ads for your sake and everyone else's. People are obsessed with these cars and the last thing they need is their time wasted....Guess i need to be more clear to some people...

Fine might mean the car isn't totalled or completely screwed. It sounds like the thieves put the car up on craigslist from my understanding of his posts, but they are kind of vague.

Definitely glad you got the car back, it looks like it's a gorgeous car.

My car has been found in Alexandria at European Auto Body off of Vine st. The car was in fact towed by Redman's towing with no authentic ID( have i used them in the past). The car has chassis damage and the bumper is ripped. The police also notified me that someone used a master key. Thanks for the support everyone.
