Help covince my friend to get a E30!

Okay, I need everyone's help on this one.

My friend is going to buy a used car. He's looking into civics and integras. But being such a good friend,I trying to steer him away from hondas and have got him thinking about e30's.

So can you guys post the some pros, and potentials that e30 are capable of?

Please trying to make a world a better place, one less honda ricer at a time.

    Thanks,
    -Frank

If your friend wants a Honda, let him trash a Honda.

If you don't know that much about them, why are you trying to convince him to get one?

What's wrong with Hondas anyways? The majority of them aren't rice.

what tj said, besides, a lot of vtec honda/acuras are faster in a straight line (which is honestly the most important thing to 80% of 'car enthusiasts') and more reliable to boot.

Hondas are great and I recommend them too many, but there are a few major differences. One drive a Honda on a long interstate trip than drive an e30, when your in an e30 your allot more comfortable and you will think Honda must have used no sound deading insulation whatsoever. Second a Honda are as boring as a shoe box, everyone drives them, there "me to cars". If you must go Japanese get something interesting like a "z" or an mr2. Just my 2 cents.

I really can't provide any input. Highway drives in my 318 aren't fun. At all.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Not fun, but you still love it more than most right?

In most situations, personal preference does not affect the quality of those which are not preferred.

Going to have to agree. Short trips are OK. Long trips are teh suck.

I drove from Oregon to south central Texas in 2 days. First section was 11hrs non stop, second section was 28hrs non stop.

When I say non stop, I mean stop only for gasoline, piss, or for food "to go" You become a real man when you can drive 28hrs non stop with no sleeping! 24hr LeMans here I come.

My car has NO sound deadening at all anywhere. My motor is loud. I have no A/C, it was the dead of summer, I was doing 80-100+ most of the trip with both windows down and sunroof flipped up.

                          Miserable.

OK I meant six cylinder e30's with sound deading and standard gearing. And yes Hondas have gotten much more comfortable in recent years, and the 03 Prelude I drove recently was nice but the handling was just not the same with little feedback. I exclude the s2000 from these observations as it is rwd but that’s still a weekend car. Lets not forget the main reason for fwd is to cut production costs resulting in a car that’s both inexpensive and lighter = good fuel economy.
