Already done, with poly bushings on everything. Suspension is primo.
I'm just worried about the trans longevity, haven't heard anything bad though....

The buick v8s in them aren't shit, I've had the 3.9 and the 4.0 versions and neither gave me a problem(besides gas mileage). the trans on the 4.0 apparently shit out the day after I sold it to the new owner(140k on it, I never had an issue with it). and the 3.9 is still going strong(strong for ~180hp) at 200k.

So, I went a picked it up today. Drove 'er home! Love it! I've seriously got the biggest smile on my face right now!

Took 'er through the fields. Love driving this thing, seriously! Found myself trying to find the most difficult path, but these fields are too flat. Gonna have to take it up into the nation forest some time soon.

                Lawl....we'll see.

Been driving the thing to work and back and it does great. Not as slow as I expected. Just gotta wind that M52 out a bit.

Drove it over Afton Mountian to Charlottesvile last night for a BMW CCA meet and had to drop it to 3rd gear to make it up on the way there. On the way home had to drop it to 3rd and it pretty much stayed in 2nd.

Horn and 4 way flashers stopped working yesterday on the way to C'ville, but when I got home they worked again. Lucas at it again.

Gonna take the seat control module out tonight and fiddle with it. My mirrors like to move when the (non-operational) seat switches are messed with.

Also, another thing that *does* work is the anti-glare on the rear view mirror. Probably my favorite feature.

The.factory ecu cam be tuned using tuner pros which is a plus. I will be having to make a custom intercooler though and might just go air to water because there is almost no room in the engine bay.

I don't know if it is an issue on the later stuff, but on the early stuff, the battery can leak acid onto the frame rail on the right side and eat it away. We are having to put an entire front frame rail in his because it has rusted through.

Alright, I'm calling on the collective mind of r3v. In the picture of the engine, you see that scaffolding? I have GOT to get rid of that. I took the serp belt off and could barely get it back on, due to the 3 idlers and what not all over there.

I'm thinking of using an electric PS pump, like from an MR2. Thoughts? Already looked at a Volvo and Mini cooper PS pumps. Volvo's have a module attached to them and the Cooper ones are just crap.

Ones from an MR2 run around $250....more than I'd really like to pay.

Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm very open minded to this as this sketch setup has me worrying about the belt just flying off at any moment....

I assume there is no provision/space to mount the PS pump as factory on the M52? should be an easy thing to get hoses made if that is the hiccup.
I saved 15% on my Bimmer parts by switching to ...

Nope. The steering box is right there in the way. There's a perfect spot right behind the right headlight to mount it too. Found some MR2 PS pumps for like $90, but I need a core to get my $90 core back. :/

Also found a site detailing installing the same pump on a Jeep (ick!). I'd assume I'm pretty set, just need to get a pump and go at it.

Wow just saw this thread... Very cool. I have a 92' RRC and it's great. I'll Los pics when I'm not on my iPhone. But the 3.9 is a great engine. Just keep maintenance up and makes sure you have $$$ for gas.
