One is headlight adjustment. Not sure what the other is...headlight intensive washer?"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

The second one to the right of it looks like it was an aftermarket install.

as said, the left is for aiming the headlights down when you have a bunch of crap in your trunk. the headlight intensive wash operates off of the headlight stalk by pushing it in. It basically sends a signal to the special relay (2 extra pins) that goes to the controller on the washer tank. This operates the smaller intensive cleaning system to spray concentrated fluid on the windshield.
could it be part of the optional radar detector or something to do with a factory sub?sigpic

^ yeah right............
that's some bullsh*t someone tacked into that car. Like posted before, the far left control is for headlight height adjustment- it was a law for all cars after 1991 in Germany to have leveling headlights.
BTW, that is probably not an EVO III car, look at the ebay pedals, non black guages, and rusty door sill, non alcantara wheel, only half leather covered center console.......

It does have the plaque on the center console and it looks to be correct.

Sport Evo's could be optioned with adjustable shocks, with Comfort, Normal and Sport settings. The three-position rotary switch, labelled "K" "N" and "S" was located on the center console. That particular switch on the dash doesn't look factory, but it could be aftermarket installation of a control switch for similarly-adjustable suspension, such as modern high-end coilovers.
