Let me clarify
Anyone who thinks their e36 is cooler than an e30 is a tool.
Even most sensible and reasonable BMW enthusiast will agree the e30s classic looks, shrewd body lines, and driving experience is worlds better than an e36

There's no satisfaction getting into an e36 and going "Dang, this BMW is so... OLD.." whereas, you get into an e30 and go "DANG! This BMW.. is so old!" and you start feeling like a classy gentleman
They're cars from completely different eras; e30s were the best of the past, e36s were the worst of the new

I once saw a car like that, same model and everything, on donk sized wheels with a lift kit, decked out in a full car Skittles wrapper vinyl wrap.

A friend of mine told me a story once.

She was siting at a light, waiting for it to change so she could turn. Her boyfriend at the time said "You shouldn't waste your blinks"

Apparently, (while I guess this is true) he was under the impression that you had a set number of blinks, and sitting with your blinker on would waste them. He only signaled a moment before he turned in order to conserve blinks.



Also, I have a friend with a Mazda 3. He has said the following things:

"Yeah, it's nice because I don't have the delay from the clutch" (Talking about his manumatic mode)

"I'm going to get this shop to sponsor me, and we're going to build it up to 500 HP"

"I'm going to get three turbos. One for first gear, one for second, and a big one for the rest"

He had misunderstood a boost controller. Then again, he also thought the turbos were attached to the transmission.

Guy: *pulls up in front of me with a 2000 something Honda Civic"
Guy: Aye what year is that thing?
Me: '91
Guy: *pauses for literally 10 seconds staring*
Me: *stares back for those 10 seconds*
Guy: Cool.... Yeah.. I've got a, um, a.. a.. the same one, but year '93 that I'm working on..
Me: *mile-long stare*
Me: Cool man, good luck with it!
Guy: *drives away*
