Yes, but they allow immediate family, which is how I got USAA. The cool thing is that you can keep passing it on, as long as the chain isn't broken.

I also don't have the greatest driving record... but two more years and my rates should drop dramatically (tickets clear after 5yrs).
I have the most horrendous driving record myself, but somehow dodged a bullet w/ insurance (so far)...been a couple yrs since most of my offenses.

      Right now i pay $99/month for my E46 M3 fully covered 100/300
      $250/yr for the E30 fully covered 100/300

I'd suggest doing american collectors if i were you...i told jermaine about it and he switched up too. Nice to know you have protection too in the event the car gets totaled. Only stipulation w/ american collectors is you have to have an enclosed garage.

$250 annually? You sure on that? Just got a quote of $736 with a perfect driving record and $15k agreed value.

So I just called American Collectors back and was going over the quote and ended up getting denied cause we only have one DD.

              Darn.

I tried to insure my 5'er but they denied it. Stated the value was too low... my own fault. I entered the present value and not the value that I hope it'll be once I go through it.

I will however try the E30!

Actually 3 cars if you have two licensed drivers in the household.

Liberty Mutual may have an agreed value policy.

Any of the collector car insurance companies should be able to help you. My e30 is also a 91 and it's been covered by Hagerty since I got it in 2010 where it was just under 20 years old.

I listed it as a track car since that's what it is for me and they didn't have a problem.

I pay practically nothing for full coverage on my e30

Having three cars being married & old makes insurance cheap.

When I had my STi when I was younger my insurance was almost as much as the car payment
