Yup. Runs fine, still has good compression, starts right up, little down on power, and blows a little smoke. I'll be fixing it in the coming weeks. I'm shooting to have the car done by July.

Last year converted my A/C to R134 and replaced damn near every part except the lines. even got a parallel flow condenser (didn't even know I ordered that). Driving 20000 miles a year with it..I sure as hell need it.

So what do you really have to do to get the air cons converted to r134a.

Evacuate R12 (unless empty) Empty out mineral oil from lines, compressor, condenser, evaporator flushing with solvent. Fill system with ester oil. Replace all O-rings with R-134a compatible ones. reassemble (with new drier and R134a expansion valve if you like) pull a vacuum, refill with R134a, ENJOY.

I'm having a little bit of trouble sourcing a bolt in parallel condensor for my 134 retrofit, does anyone have a source?

I did it. If you buy everything its around 400 bucks. and that was with a OE parts discount from a local shop.

Its worth it. My AC is so cold. Its heavenly when I exit my car and I dont have swap ass/ ball cheese. No bitches want that.
