No e30 iXs in RHD either. Don't think the market in the UK and SA was big enough for a winter-specific Bimmer. Sorry.

Doesn't matter. As these cars continue getting exposure, more people will want one, and there are more 16-20somethings in the US than in the UK who want a fun, "vintage" car.

Even though they are considered to be the least desired model, they too will rise in value, even if a minimal amount. They are still e30's, and I have seen many clean and well sorted examples

I saw this episode as well. It was a nice clean euro vert. It's good to know our cars are going up in value compared it most others going down

This doesn't surprise me in the least. The E30 is a great car, and even though people think they are worth nothing, the truth is, they are going up in value. Especially the ones that have been tastefully modded, but not swapped and nothing permanent has been altered.

They are already a cult car, and when people start treating them as a good collectible car, they will go up more in price.

Plus they like to rust up over there. I keep seeing people say e30 prices are on the rise. But since I've got my first e30 and been on the forums, I have yet to see it. The high price ones are from crackheads who see the BMW roundel and ask crazy prices. I think they may go up in price a little over the years, but not to what people think they are going to skyrocket to.

I honestly hope they do not go up in value. I like buying them, not selling.

I don't know if I like or dislike the current rise in interest of E30's or not. It's tough because its such a solid car and has withstood the test of time, but these cars can and will get into the wrong hands. I am all for people having common interests but I am also the eccentric type that likes to have an extraordinary car.

The good part about them increasing in value is they will attract more mature, responsible owners... not kids that just want a car to slide around their neighborhood.
