Fifth gear says e30 are On the rise

The E30, hard or soft top, they already have a huge following and the number of good one gets smaller seemingly almost by the day. $15K for a nice one, yeah I believe it. I've seen a few this year that were asking that. Yes they were really clean and low mileage but still, very nice examples. If you factor in the M3 prices, I can only guess what those will be in 5 years.

This is the kind of car (and asking price) that might have gotten laughed off this forum just one or two short years ago. No longer, I suspect.

Interesting topic. My brother was just commenting how he thought the $5K profit he cleared on his mint 2002 seems laughable now compared to how much more he could get for it 5 years later. Cars like his are clearing $20K.

I think E30s are heading the same way. Makes me glad I bought mine when I did!
