Are the rails bent? I can't tell.
Sounds like more of an excuse to go even more ham at the track!

      Story?
Even broke an engine mount arm, pretty intense. If it's your DD then I think its time to part it man. Maybe you could replace the subframe, but like AK- said, bent rails?

got to close to a clipping point. dirt dropped with my right front, rim caught the 5-6 inch lip of tarmac. I was in 3rd gear so about 50-60 mph when i hit.

did the end link smack the frame? did you run over the gatorback?

                edit: there's the answer.

the frame is bent. how much? its hard for me to tell by eye. maybe 10mm or more. its hard to see in the picures but i think the wheel smacked the frame rail. the rail has a good dent in it about 5 inches long vertically. i can see the mounting area for the subframe is pushed up, its no longer flat.

you need one of these , a engine mount, subframe and youll be golden baby!

seriously tho a big fucking hammer will buff it out, or a cutter and welder :D

Is the passenger door closed in that pic? yeah, if the windshield gasket moved like that, it must have been a pretty hard hit. Years ago, I would have said junk it and find another shell but these days clean E30's are scarce so take it to a frame shop and see what they say first before looking for another shell.

that thing is def. trash now. Doesn't look like it was too clean of a car either (sunroof hackjob)......
I wouldn't want to be in that car if there was another impact in that area.
It's crazy how strong yet weak the E30 chassis can be in different accident situations!
