    whats this part called?

    does anyone know what this part is called?
    the black part, not the fuse box cover.
    should it contain fuses/ relay?

              I have no idea. Mine has two wires that go into it, but the weird part is that they each go to different slots. So if you look in the top with a light, you can see that each slot only has one connector in it.

              I guess its to hold fuses, or is a spot for fuses for options that I dont have.

                Mine is currently empty. Not sure whats supposed to be there

                  I think it is there to hold fuses if you install additional stuff.

                    it comes from the factory empty. Its a constant 12v and a ground. Good place to run an E fan or other accessories.

                      I always wondered what that was for. I'm planning on doing a Mark VIII fan that replaces the aux fan in front and was thinking about using this since I noticed it didn't have anything hooked to it.

                          actually i'm pretty sure its a constant 12V and a switched 12V. i used the switched 12V when i put in rear fogs so i could run a relay and an indicator light in the cluster.
