    C&D blog: M cars that weren't

    Some cool ones (E46 M3 Wagon - give it to me now!), and some hideous ones (the last two).

      I tried to bug the guys at the BMW museum to let me see these cars or at least more art cars and they wouldnt.... :(

                      One thing bothers me. Why do they call it an M3 pickup? Also, The last two need to die in a fire. One looks like a porsche, the other a subie outback...

                          It's Car and Driver. Their main purpose is to tell clueless suburban middle aged yuppies if they should buy the newest domestic SUV or Subaru crossover.

                              it says M3 on the front license plate. probably some sort of joke for the E30 beater/parts mule they turned into a truck.

                                              I read somewhere that the M group used the e30 pickup to transport M engines around. I'll look for the link..
