Oil sump got clogged with sludge (found out after dropping the pan. There was literally 1/2" of sludge in the pan) and the oil pump seized up and blew out of the bottom of the engine. This resulted in #1 piston getting lodged in the cylinder, and the rod being twisted. You can see how it got to hot the oil burned off of the #2 rod cap and crank.

Yes I am, custom headers to a Y and straight SS 3" all the way back. The trick it mounting crazy close after beating the tubing into an oval. I have my pipe above the frame :)

Only thing that sticks down is the center Vband. You can notice it in this side shot.

OHH forgot you were NA, yeah I gotta re-do mine eventually, for now the only spot I scrape is right under that tranny brace. I might do something crazy like dual oval pipes just over that tranny brace and a y pipe on either side

Your car looks sick btw let me know if you're ever headed towards rochester

^ The amount of RTV used on your oil pan amuses me.

Did you get into a second tube on that install?

yea, about those tie rods. need to fab up mounts to run the joints lower so that they can be parallel. this is with the car actually raised up higher than i used to have it. the motor is aswell raised to get the bottom of the pan as high as the front subframe

The oil pan smashed through the power steering rack when I totaled my car.

Where is the picture of the oil pan where the only thing left is the flange?
