I loved my vert. I missed it so much that I bought it back from the guy I sold it to.

I wanted an inexpensive convertible as a second car. Did I miss a better choice?

It's fun to drive in the open air, plus it's a good looking car with the roof down, I actually don't like driving it at all with the roof up. But I'm lucky that I have another car with a roof.

It's really one of those things you must do before leaving this world, like ...

            - trying to wipe that crazy grin off your face after driving from Malibu to Big Bear with top down and only succeeding at getting dirt.

            - going out for a drive around 10 am and getting a tan by 12.

            - cruising at 35 mph for almost 2 miles while a seabird glides above your head using the windshields wake.

            - picking up your 7 year old nice from school, placing her hand on the shifter and watching her face glow as the gears engage.

            - driving about at midnight on desolated Hawaiian roads with a full moon casting shadows on your face.

            - having car aficionados ask you where's the "oh shit" bar before and after every turn.

            - getting out of you car with messy hair not worrying about it and having people understand.

            - having prospective clients request rides even before they get off their planes.

            - feeling, hearing every tickitie tac you ride makes.

the list goes on and on, try it, live it, set your senses free.

Rolled to work this morning...20 miles of mountain road, 58 degrees..stereo blastin' in harmony with Magnaflow.:-D No better way to start the work day.

So Mark, when you gonna sell me your wheels?
I'm actually considering it to go square, but I can't think of a viable replacement.

Unless somebody wants to trade me for some 17" staggared Alpinas.:D

so true its a completely different car, even with a hard top i like them better than a coupe i love that fact that all 4 windows go down. and they handle pretty close to a non vert.

I feel real relaxed when I drive the vert. Driving my coupes, I feel like I put on a suit of armor and I'm ready for battle..just me

I think they look goofy, but after having a mustang convertible back in the day I would love to try on an e30 vert :)

                              Don't get it all. If I wanted an E30, I wouldn't get a vert; and if I wanted a vert, I wouldn't get an E30.
