Chris Bangle hasn't been head of design or even worked for BMW for at least 3 years now. Remeber the Z8 was Bangle's so he wasn't all bad.

My mistake, I don't really keep up on this stuff. Still, I don't think there's been a truly beautiful BMW since the e46/e39/e38.

e30-e90-e46 are my favorite M3, e36 is ugly IMHO.

also too many model lines. why do we need a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7? only newer bmw i really like is the 1M, but has the crappy motor, and was limited production.

E36 has grown on me. It isn't as aggressive as the rest of the M3 family, but its hard chiseled lines make it timeless in some sense, much like blunts firm jaw line and flowing locks.

I'm sure it's fast, and will handle well.. but it's a fucking boat. just look at the thing. it's basically a 2-door 5 series. it's literally the same size as an E34.

and the turbos - yawn.
