I kind of like the retro stuff that was offered for them in the 80's. Zender, Kamei and so on. That's why I did my last e30 up like it was.

But for mods like go fast stuff, i'll stick with my domestics.

Swapping my blown transmission allowing me to drive a manual e30 for the first time was pretty memorable.

This may sound odd, but going from that shitty plastic shift knob to a z3 short shift and shift knob is still something i think about every day i get in my car. It feels so much more solid.
either that or the first time i drove my car after an m50 swap and GC coils. but even still there is no better feeling to me than shiftingComment

Essentially this for me as well. Ellipsoids, a Jetta lip and Rustoleum flat black paint are my only "mods" so far even though i'm stockpiling parts for manual swap and so forth. Only so much I can do to my daily.1991 325i - "Scambles" The Daily Driven lightly modded.
